There is one test, and a member in France put it better than we could: the business has to be buying leads or generating its own. That is the only filter. He landed meetings with some of the largest French companies across solar, life insurance, health insurance, debt, mortgages and stairlifts — from one cold email template, without niching down at all.

A different path
A call centre with a global charity client agreed to trial the system against a 50,000-contact database.
Spoke with a call centre who have a global client in the charity space (of all things) that pay 2x the donation fee. ie. $50 donation you get a $100 payout. They have a huge database of 50,000.

One member's method: speak to one business in an industry, ask what percentage of leads go cold, then use that figure when contacting the rest of them.
Dead data first, because it is the easiest yes. Fresh leads, out-of-hours cover and review handling come after you have proved it.

Members here have run campaigns in French Canada, France, Spain and Spanish-language US markets, and one member built a multi-language android because his client's leads were all Spanish speakers.
Members have said so themselves. One turned down a hot tub business because it had no lead generation system at all. Another noted a prospect had been burned by revenue-share arrangements before and was wary. Small businesses with no data are not a fit.
No. Members here have worked lists from 96 leads up to 1.5 million. The small ones still produced results — they just produced smaller ones.
