“I'm not technical and I'm not a salesperson. Can I still do this?”
The members below were nervous, fumbled their calls, botched demos and in several cases never showed a demo at all. They still got a yes, because what sells is the prospect watching a bot handle their own dead leads. Simple to sell is not the same as effortless — the same people describe fourteen-hour days and work they had to learn.
A nervous fifteen-minute call with a former mortgage broker — with no demo attempted at all — produced an agreed test on 3,000 dead leads.
I booked a call with my former mortgage broker and we just got off the phone. I was so nervous and fumbling all over the place and in the end he said, YES! Let's do a test! ... I didn't even attempt to do a demo in Open AI…
A specialist mortgage broker tried to break the bot with his hardest questions, said it answered better than he would, and accepted a 50% revenue share without pushback.

Partnered with an experienced closer to handle sales while handling the technical delivery, and the partner closed a large client.
to be honest I hate sales, so I partnered with a big player in the industry to go out and find and close deals, and then I'll just take care of the tech stuff.
A pattern, not one outlier

Closed a first warm lead despite a demo the client actively disliked — and earned a referral from that same client.
I closed my first warm lead with a really, really bad demo. ... By the way, the second demo is a referral of this first client. So even I can't eff this program up doing a poor demo :)

A first coffee date with a US brokerage: nervous going in, delivered the demo, asked for and held 50%.
I was nervous beforehand but guess what... he's just a regular guy like you or me... When he asked about percentage commission I just straight up said 50% which he gasped at - I know what this is worth to them so stuck to my guns.

Landed a first client selling marketing services to UK fee-paying schools, without ever showing the demo.
I did some Linkedin outreach before XMAS and had one connection show interest. We had a coffee date and since then have been playing email tennis and they now want to go ahead, didn't even show them the demo.

an accountant sent me a Paid Msg on LinkedIn: 'Could Your Business Save More on Taxes?' I replied: 'No thanks, but tell me - how are your current marketing methods working for you?'

An in-person office demo led to an agreed test at £1,000 build plus £500 per month and a 50/50 profit share, plus an immediate referral.
I'd setup a demo instance and so when we asked if there was something I could show him, I added him to the workflow and he started chatting away. It was then that he was blown away and agreed to proceed to a test. ... A great…

A standard cold email campaign produced meetings and deals with large French companies across six different niches.
From a rather standard cold email campaign I am able to land meetings and get deals with some of the largest French companies in pretty much any niche (Solar, life insurance, health insurance, debt, mortages, stairs elevators…

One cold email template, aimed deliberately at the National Sales Manager rather than a generic inbox, produced a coffee date with a large prospect.

Fourteen LinkedIn messages produced one call with a potential agency partner.
I've decided to get it 'the fun way' and switch my 'analytical brain' OFF! => 14 messages sent so far (i.e. almost nothing), 1 call with a potential agency partner. ... I think I really over-think things, lol!

A get-to-know-you chat with a mortgage business holding 30,000 dead leads turned into a sales conversation.
My idea was to just have a chat and get to know each other bud the conversation quickly turned into a legit sales call

Two calls arranged after a week of back-and-forth; both interested and moving to tests.
How the result actually happens
Three steps. This is the mechanism the posts above are all describing.
Ask one question, not a pitch
“Do you have a database of old leads that enquired previously but didn't go anywhere?” That is the whole opening. One member reverse-pitched an accountant who had cold-pitched him first.
Put them in front of the bot
One member added the prospect into the live workflow mid-meeting and let him chat to it. Another let a former employer talk to it while they were on the phone.
Offer no-risk terms
“We only get paid if and when you get paid.” That sentence is why these conversations are short and why the price rarely becomes an argument.
Questions people ask on this one
Do I need to be technical?
One member on this page wrote “I didn't even attempt to do a demo in Open AI because well, I'm not quite ready for that” — and got a yes in a fifteen-minute call. Another says any mention of tech and he was “talking a different language” with the client.
What if the demo goes wrong?
One member closed his first client with a demo the client actively disliked — wrong tone, wrong answers — and still got the deal plus a referral. Another had ruined the previous day's call with screen-sharing glitches.
Do I have to cold call?
No. The routes on this page include warm contacts, cold email, LinkedIn, Facebook groups, paid ads, Instagram stories, in-person networking, and one member who simply partners with someone who likes selling.
What if I genuinely hate selling?
One member's answer: “I hate sales, so I partnered with a big player in the industry to go out and find and close deals, and then I'll just take care of the tech stuff.” His partner closed the client.
Is it actually easy, then?
Simple, not easy. One member's exact words: “This is the easiest business to start hands down (after you figure out the technical side of course).” Another describes fourteen-hour days once clients were live. The process is simple. The work is real.
Two ways to go from here
Read how the model actually works, or start with the book and see the whole system for the price of a coffee.
You mentioned you're not a salesperson. Every member on this page said the same thing — one of them closed with a demo he described as really, really bad.
This is the page for the “I'm not technical” question. Note the one who never even opened the demo and still got a yes.
