“Has anyone actually landed a first client with this?”
Yes — and the ones below are worth reading precisely because most of them had nothing to start with. No agency. No list. In several cases no experience in the industry they ended up selling into. Some got there in days. One took months. All of them posted the receipts in the community at the time, which is what you are reading.
Closed a first client at $5,000 up front plus $250 per appointment, after two years in Flexxable without closing anything and with no relevant industry background.
I've been in Flexxable since 2021 and I hadn't closed a single client in the traditional sense. I'm 29 and I come from a performing arts background so every niche meant nothing to me. ... I just sold that Financial Advisor on a…

A new member's first cold outreach: 400 emails produced 3 leads and 42 LinkedIn InMails produced 1.
I'm a new member to ROYA and never heard of AI SMS until now. ... I had my doubts just the week before. ... 400 cold emails sent - 3 leads. 42 LinkedIn InMails sent - 1 lead. ... I haven't seen these kinds of positive numbers…

Three leads turned into three confirmed meetings, starting from no sales experience and no contacts.
If a guy like me with ZERO sales/marketing experience and ZERO leads/contacts can achieve these small wins, I can only imagine what you all are or going to achieve.

Closed a first warm lead despite a demo the client actively disliked — and earned a referral from that same client.
I closed my first warm lead with a really, really bad demo. ... By the way, the second demo is a referral of this first client. So even I can't eff this program up doing a poor demo :)

One month in: 50-100 organic outreaches a day produced 4 demos and 2 signed clients — a multi-location barbershop and a private auto group.
Today marks a little over a month since I joined ROYA... I've done nothing but organic. Doing 50-100 outreach's via FB & LinkedIn daily... I have had 4 demos (double that amount already booked for next week). I've gotten 2…
Closed a first deal with a roofing company after several months of effort.
I finally closed my first deal today after many months of slogging. In the end, this one came without much resistance. A Roofing company with around 2,000 leads.

After a month of cold outreach with no warm audience to draw on, landed a first coffee date.
I've not been very active here but have been working away doing cold outreach (unfortunately don't have a warm audience) and just got the first coffee date! ... I say finally think it's only been a month but I'm pretty impatient.

Included on purpose. Not everyone moves fast, and a page of only quick wins would not be an honest answer.
How the result actually happens
Three steps. This is the mechanism the posts above are all describing.
Find who already has old leads
Nearly every business more than a few years old has a database it has given up on. That is the opening — not a cold pitch about AI.
Show them it working
A short demo on their own kind of leads. Several members below closed without finishing a demo at all, because the prospect could see the point immediately.
Agree a split, not a fee
You get paid when they get paid. That is why the conversation is short and why nobody asks for references.
Questions people ask on this one
Do I need agency experience?
No. The first featured member had spent two years in Flexxable without closing a single client in the traditional sense, and came from a performing arts background. Another opens with “ZERO sales/marketing experience and ZERO leads/contacts.”
Do I need an existing list or audience?
No. One member below signed a $5,500-per-month client from a list of 138 leads. Several worked entirely from cold email or LinkedIn because they had no warm audience at all.
What if my demo isn't ready?
Several members closed without one. One closed his first client with what he described as “a really, really bad demo” — and got a referral from that same client. Another simply never showed it.
How long did these actually take?
It varies enormously, and that is the honest answer. On this page you will find 12 hours, 11 days, one month, and “after many months of slogging.” We have deliberately included the slow ones.
What if it doesn't work for my first client?
It happens. One member signed five clients, generated 78 appointments across three campaigns, and made no revenue at all because the clients' own sales teams did not close. His post is in the library.
Two ways to go from here
Read how the model actually works, or start with the book and see the whole system for the price of a coffee.
Thought this was the most relevant proof for what you asked — these are members who started from zero and landed a first client.
You asked whether a beginner can actually do this. This page is nothing but first clients, including the ones that took months.
